Locksmith Leeds MobileLS Ltd
Who is responsible for your information?
Locksmith Leeds MobileLS Ltd, company number 11491559, is responsible for personal information used to respond to enquiries and provide our locksmith services. Registered office: 8 Oaklands Court, Leeds, LS8 3TP, United Kingdom (registered office only; no walk-in service).

Information we collect
When you contact us or book a job, we may receive your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, service address, message, preferred callback time and details of the lock, door or vehicle problem. You may also send photographs by WhatsApp or another contact method. Job records may contain the work carried out, parts supplied, agreed prices, receipts or invoices, and information needed to handle follow-up questions or warranty requests.
Telephone calls are not recorded. We may keep written notes of the problem, the quote and what was agreed, along with customer messages and relevant LLMBI job records. Our website may also process technical information about visits and the way contact buttons are used. Some of this comes from analytics or advertising technologies, as explained below.
How we use the information
We use information to respond to enquiries, provide estimates, arrange visits, assess authorisation to carry out work, complete repairs, keep business and accounting records, handle payments, respond to complaints and administer warranties.
The legal grounds may include taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, meeting legal obligations (including tax and accounting obligations), and legitimate interests such as preventing misuse and keeping appropriate service records. Website tracking is described further below.
We will not treat the fact that you contacted us about a locksmith job as consent to unrelated marketing.
Contact forms, WhatsApp and service providers
If you use the callback form on our contact page, the form is submitted through Formspree. If you contact us using WhatsApp, Meta's WhatsApp service processes information involved in that communication. Our website is delivered using Cloudflare, and our website uses Google services for analytics and advertising measurement. Information about completed work may also be recorded in our internal locksmith-job management system, LLMBI.
We use service providers where needed to operate the website, communicate with customers and provide our service. We do not sell customer personal information. Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. International transfers must meet applicable data protection requirements.
Payments
We accept cash, bank transfer and card payments. Card payments are processed through PayPal Point of Sale (formerly iZettle/Zettle), operated by PayPal UK Ltd. The provider processes the card and transaction information needed to take payment. Locksmith Leeds MobileLS Ltd keeps relevant payment, receipt and accounting information to reconcile transactions and handle payment questions. See the PayPal Point of Sale privacy policy for more about the payment provider's use of personal information.
Job photographs
Photographs of locks or doors may be used to assess a fault or record the work carried out. We use suitable safeguards when sharing photographs of completed work and aim to avoid identifying customers or their addresses unnecessarily. If you have questions about a photograph of your property, please contact us.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The website uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads technologies. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to measure website visits, calls, messages and advertising performance. Optional Google Analytics and advertising measurement cookies are only enabled when you allow them. You can accept or reject optional cookies, choose analytics and advertising separately, and change your mind using Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Calls and WhatsApp work whichever you choose.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed to provide our services, maintain appropriate records of the work agreed and completed, meet tax and accounting requirements, and deal with warranty queries, complaints or legal claims.
Completed-job records, including relevant job notes and photographs, are scheduled for a review six years after the job was completed. This review process is being introduced; older records have not yet been reviewed under it. This is a review point, not a promise that every record will be deleted on that date. We may keep particular information for longer where there is a continuing need, such as an unresolved complaint, a legal claim or a legal obligation. When identifiable information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details.
Other records, including enquiries that did not become jobs, messages held separately from LLMBI and accounting records, may have different retention periods based on why they were collected and any legal requirements.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to correct it, erase it, restrict its use, object to certain uses, or request transfer of information. You may withdraw consent where we rely on it. Some requests are subject to legal exemptions, for example where information must be retained to meet a legal obligation.
Please contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
Updates
We may update this notice if our services or data-handling practices change.
