This uPVC door was difficult to lock and the handle was not engaging properly. I traced the fault to the gearbox and multipoint mechanism rather than the whole door. The failed part was replaced, the keeps were checked, and the door was tested so it locked smoothly again before the job was finished.

Keys had been locked inside the vehicle, so the job was handled as entry only. I used specialist vehicle opening tools to regain access without damage to the paintwork, glass or trim. I handle car and van lockouts, but not lost car keys, key cutting, programming or immobiliser work.

The customer wanted the old cylinder changed after a key concern. I removed the existing lock and fitted a more secure cylinder suited to the door. The new keys were tested, the door was checked from both sides, and the price was agreed before the work started.

For many standard jobs I can give a firm or near-firm price on the phone. If a uPVC mechanism needs seeing first, I'll tell you the likely range before I leave.
Before any work starts, I explain what is wrong and confirm the final price. If a repair will do the job, I'll say so.
For lockouts I pick or manipulate before drilling where possible. For uPVC doors I check the fault before recommending replacement parts. Parts supplied by MobileLS and the associated workmanship are covered by a 12-month warranty; labour-only work without supplied parts is excluded.
